Charges Laid in Break and Enter Investigation Involving Places of Worship
Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Break, Enter and Vehicle Theft Unit have laid charges in connection to an ongoing investigation involving multiple break and enters at places of worship in the Waterloo Region.
Since May 2025, three break and enters have been reported at places of worship where property was specifically targeted.
As a result of the investigation, officers identified and arrested a 37-year-old Kitchener male. The accused has been charged with three counts of Break and Enter and is scheduled for a court appearance at a later date.
