Emergency Services Respond to a Fatal Collision in Waterloo
The Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Traffic Services Unit and North Division patrol officers are investigating a fatal collision in Waterloo.
On August 14, 2025, at approximately 3:40 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision involving a motor vehicle and a utility pole in the area of Albert Street and Seagram Drive.
The driver of the vehicle, a 24-year-old male from Waterloo, was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The intersection of Albert Street and Seagram Drive was closed for an extended period to allow for police investigation and repairs to the utility pole.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
