Emergency Services Respond to Structure Fire in North Dumfries
Waterloo Regional Police are assisting with the investigation of a structure fire in North Dumfries Township.
At approximately 9:15 a.m. on March 2, 2026, emergency services responded to a structure fire on Northumberland Street. One individual was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening physical injuries. The building suffered major damage.
Northumberland Street and Ayr Core remain closed as emergency responders and investigators continue to work at the scene.
Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s General Investigations Unit are assisting the Ontario Fire Marshal in determining the cause of the fire.
