Emergency Services Respond to a Suspicious Residential Fire in Cambridge

Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a suspicious residential fire in Cambridge.

On July 3, 2025, at approximately 9 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a house fire in the area of Malcolm Street and Roseview Avenue.

The residence was cleared and the Cambridge Fire Department managed to extinguish the fire, however the building sustained major damage. There were no reports of any physical injuries.  

At this time and due to the nature of the incident, members of WRPS’ General Investigations Unit are continuing to investigate the fire with the assistance of the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshall.
