Male Arrested Following Weapons Call in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested and charged a Kitchener male following a weapons-related incident.
On August 29, 2025, at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers responded to reports of a male carrying a black handgun in the area of Weber Street North and Victoria Street North in Kitchener.
Through investigation, police determined that the recovered black handgun was an imitation firearm. There were no reported physical injuries as a result of this incident.
As a result of the investigation, a 33-year-old Kitchener male has been charged with the following:
Carrying Concealed Weapon
Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
Breach of Probation
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
