Police are Investigating a Robbery During an Online Marketplace Transaction in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police Service is investigating a robbery that occurred during an online marketplace transaction in the Kitchener.
On November 15, 2026, between 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., police responded to the area of Prosperity Drive and Foxglove Crescent after receiving a report of a robbery.
Police learned that the victim and suspect arranged to meet in the area to complete an online marketplace purchase.
A mild physical altercation occurred, and the suspect fled on foot from Prosperity Drive down a paved pathway toward Everglade Crescent with the property.
The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 18 to 20 years of age, with a slim to average build and black curly hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and grey pants.
