Police Arrest Female After Emergency Services Respond to House Fire in Cambridge
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a female in connection with a fire at residence in Cambridge.
On March 21, 2026, at approximately 2 a.m., emergency services responded to reports of a house fire in the area of Adam Street and Queen Street. The fire was extinguished by the Cambridge Fire Department.
The residence sustained significant damage as a result of the fire. One occupant was transported to a local hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation as a result of the incident.
As a result of the investigation, a 38-year-old Cambridge female was arrested and charged with Arson- Disregard for Human Life.
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
The investigation is ongoing by WRPS' General Investigations Unit and the Ontario Fire Marshal's Office.
