Police Arrest Individual Following Person-on-Person Robbery in Woolwich
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a female following a person-on-person robbery in Woolwich Township.
On July 1, 2026, at approximately 11 p.m., the suspect and victim were in the area of Sandy Hills Drive when the suspect demanded the victim’s vehicle keys. The suspect then brandished a knife and assaulted the victim, and police were contacted.
As a result of the investigation, an 18-year-old Woolwich female was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Robbery with violence
- Mischief under $5,000
- Assault cause bodily harm
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
Investigators believe this was a targeted incident.
