Police Arrest Male after Knife Brandished at Cambridge Store
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested and charged a male after he brandished a knife during a shoplifting incident in Cambridge.
On June 29, 2025, at 1 p.m., police responded to a store in the area of Pinebush Road and Hespeler Road for a report of a male brandishing a knife towards a store employee.
Through investigation, police determined the male had stolen merchandise and was confronted by staff. The male then brandished a knife while being escorted from the business.
Police located the male nearby and placed him under arrest.
There were no physical injuries reported as a result of this incident.
A 44-year-old Cambridge male has been charged with the following offences:
- Robbery
- Utter Threats to Cause Death
The male was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
