Police Arrest Male and Seize Drugs After Responding to Stolen E-Bike in Cambridge

Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male after responding for a report of a stolen e-bike in Cambridge.

On October 16, 2025, at approximately 7 p.m., police responded to the area of Water Street North for a report of a stolen e-bike.

Officers located a male riding the stolen e-bike and arrested him. Officers seized suspected fentanyl, clonazepam and hydromorphone during the arrest. 

As a result of the investigation, a 20-year-old Kitchener male was charged with the following offences:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking (three counts)

  • Possession of stolen property 

The accused was held for a bail hearing.
