Police Arrest Prolific Offender in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police have charged a male with multiple property crime offences in Kitchener as part of ongoing crime suppression efforts.
On May 9, 2025, members of WRPS’ Crime Suppression, Analysis and Response (CSAR) Unit arrested a prolific offender as he attempted to enter parked vehicles in the area of Queen Street North and King Street East. The male had been released from custody at the Waterloo Region Court House the same day.
As a result of the investigation, a 30-year-old Waterloo male was charged with 11 counts of attempted theft from a motor vehicle and theft under $5,000 from a motor vehicle.
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
