Police Charge Driver after Vehicle Strikes Building in Waterloo
Officers from Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Neighbourhood Policing North Division have laid charges after a hit-and-run collision in Waterloo.
On April 5, 2025, at approximately 9:20 a.m., police responded to a report of a hit-and-run collision at the intersection of King Street South and Erb Street East.
Through investigation, officers determined that a black Toyota Camry struck a building shortly before 8 a.m. and was driven a short distance away.
The driver, a 28-year-old Kitchener male, was charged with several Highway Traffic Act offences, including:
- Fail to remain
- Fail to report accident
- Careless driving
There were no physical injuries reported as a result of this incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
