Police Charge Male and Seize Drugs in Cambridge
Waterloo Regional Police have charged a male with drug-related offences after a dispute in Cambridge.
On April 27, 2025, at approximately 5:15 a.m., police responded to a report of a dispute in the area of Lena Crescent and Conestoga Boulevard.
During the investigation, officers located one of the involved individuals in a vehicle and in possession of suspected cannabis and psilocybin.
As a result of the investigation, a 30-year-old Cambridge male was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of over 30 g of dried cannabis in public place
- Possession of Schedule II – Other Drugs
- Have care and control of vehicle with cannabis readily available
The accused was also issued a 30-day driver’s licence suspension for operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration in the warning range.
