Police Continue to Investigate Commercial Break and Enter in Cambridge
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male in connection to multiple commercial break-ins in Cambridge.
Between April 29, 2025 and May 12, 2025, police responded to several reports of break-and-enters at businesses in the area of Sheldon Drive. In one instance, on May 10, 2025, over $800,000 worth of property was stolen from a local business.
On May 16, 2025, WRPS' Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team arrested a male in connection to these incidents.
A 38-year-old Cambridge male has been charged with the following offences:
- Break and Enter (three counts)
- Trafficking Stolen Property over $5,000 (two counts)
- Possession of Stolen Property over $5,000 (two counts)
- Identity Theft
- Possession of Identity Document
- Possession of Stolen Credit Card
The male was also wanted on outstanding warrants by Waterloo Regional Police and Peel Regional Police for property offences and failing to appear for court.
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
The investigation remains ongoing.
