Police Continue to Investigate Jewelry Store Robbery in Waterloo

Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a robbery in Waterloo.

On March 2, 2026, at approximately 7 p.m., police responded to reports of a jewelry store robbery at Conestoga Mall.

Four unknown masked males entered the store within the mall and used hammers to damage displays cases. The suspects stole merchandise before exiting the mall and fleeing in the parking lot in an awaiting black sedan. 

Descriptions of the four males:

  • Suspect one was described as small build and wearing a black hoodie, black pants, black shoes, blue gloves and a green bag.
  • Suspect two was described as medium build and wearing a black hoodie, grey pants, black shoes, blue gloves, medical mask and a green bag.
  • Suspect three was described as a large build and wearing a camo jacket with black shoulders (possibly North Face brand logo on back of right shoulder), black pants, black Nike shoes with white logo and white laces, grey gloves and a green bag.
  • Suspect four was described as a small build, wearing a black hoodie with large white logo on back and right arm, black pants and black shoes.

The vehicle was last seen south bound on Davenport Road.

There were no physical injuries reported. 

The investigation is ongoing by members of WRPS’ Break and Enter, Auto Theft, and Robbery (BEAR) Unit.
