Police Continue to Investigate Kitchener Residential Break and Enter
Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a residential break and enter in Kitchener.
On April 5, 2025, at approximately 8 p.m., unknown suspects gained entry to a residence in the area of Deer Ridge Drive and Fall Harvest Drive, and stole personal property.
Area residents are asked to check their security cameras for any suspicious persons or vehicles in the neighbourhood between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
The investigation is ongoing by WRPS’ Break, Enter and Vehicle Theft Team.
Police are encouraging homeowners to consider the following safety measures to help prevent break-and-enters:
- Lock windows and doors, including garage doors, even when home.
- Ensure valuables are secured in a locked location, such as a safe.
- Consider installing a surveillance/security system, which can remotely monitor the front, rear, and inside of the residence.
- Keep some lighting on when leaving the residence unoccupied.
- Report any suspicious activity or individuals to police immediately.
