Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate after a loaded firearm was located in Cambridge.  

On June 19, 2025, at approximately 8:45 p.m., police responded to the area of Wellington Street after receiving a report of a found firearm.

Upon arrival, officers located a loaded firearm underneath a vehicle. The firearm was safely seized by police.

There have been no reports of injuries or associated shooting incidents. 

The investigation remains ongoing.
