Police Continue to Investigate Pedestrian Collision in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a pedestrian collision in Kitchener.
On February 26, 2026, at approximately 10:50 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision between a Hyundai motor vehicle and a pedestrian on Wilson Avenue near Fairway Road South.
The pedestrian, a 68-year-old Kitchener male was transported to an out-of-region hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 58-year-old Cambridge male reported no injuries.
Wilson Avenue was closed for several hours for the collision investigation and has since reopened.
The investigation is ongoing, and charges are anticipated.
