Police Continue to Investigate Person-on-Person Robbery in Waterloo

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a person-on-person robbery in Waterloo.

On June 10, 2025, at approximately 10:40 p.m., police received a report of a robbery in the area of Caroline Street South.

The victim was seated on a bench when an unknown male approached them from behind, stole their purse and fled the area on foot.

The suspect was described as a Black male, early 20’s, wearing all black clothing and carrying a backpack.

Investigators are looking to identify and speak to the male pictured below in connection to this incident.
