Police Continue to Investigate Serious Collision in Wellesley Township

Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Traffic Services Unit is investigating a serious motor vehicle collision that occurred in Wellesley Township. 

On October 3, 2025, at approximately 3:50 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision between a Dodge van and a Chrysler sedan on Ament Line near Lavery Road. 

The driver of the van, a 62-year-old Woolwich male was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the sedan, a 79-year-old Perth County female was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.

Three child passengers travelling in the sedan, ages 10, 12, and 14, were also transported to hospital with serious injuries.

The investigation remains ongoing.
