Police Continue to Investigate Two Vehicle Collision in Waterloo

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision in Waterloo.

On June 19, 2025, at approximately 11:15 p.m., police responded to a collision involving a Mercedes and a Toyota at the intersection of Weber Street South and Union Street East.

The driver of the Toyota, a 34-year-old male driver, was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The passenger, a 17-year-old female, sustained minor injuries. 

The driver of the Mercedes, a 24-year-old Kitchener male, reported no injuries. 

The intersection was closed for several hours for the investigation and has since been reopened. 

The investigation is ongoing, and charges are anticipated.
