Police Investigate Report of Threats and Racially Charged Comments
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating an incident involving threats and racially charged comments directed toward a Grand River Transit (GRT) bus operator in Cambridge.
On Saturday, February 21, 2026, at approximately 4:15 p.m., police were made aware of a verbal dispute between a GRT bus operator and a male passenger at a bus terminal.
The unknown male threatened the bus operator and uttered racially charged comments.
The investigation remains ongoing.
