Police Investigate Serious Collision Involving Pedestrian in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Traffic Services Unit is investigating a serious collision involving a pedestrian in Kitchener.
On October 16, 2025, at approximately 7 a.m., emergency services responded to a report of a collision between a BMW motor vehicle and a pedestrian on Ottawa Street South at Highway 7/8.
A 36-year-old female from Waterloo was transported to an out-of-region hospital by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services with serious injuries.
The Highway 7/8 on-ramp was closed for several hours to allow for the police investigation.
