Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Traffic Services Unit is investigating a fatal collision in Wellesley Township.

On September 21, 2025, at approximately 3:05 a.m., emergency services responded to Weimar Line near Maplewood Drive for a report of a single motor vehicle collision, where a vehicle left the roadway and caught fire.

The driver, a 24-year-old male, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Weimar Line, between Moser Young Road and Maplewood Drive, was closed for approximately 10 hours while police conducted an on-scene investigation.

The investigation is ongoing.
