Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate an incident involving a noxious substance in Kitchener. 

On October 17, 2025, police responded to the area of Weber Street East and Montgomery Road following reports that several victims had been sprayed with a noxious substance.

The incident occurred after an altercation took place in the area. 

The victims suffered minor injuries and were treated by paramedics. 

The involved individuals are known to each other and it is believed to have been a targeted incident.
