Police Investigating Residential Break-and-Enter in Cambridge

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a residential break-and-enter in Cambridge.

Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team are investigating a residential break-and-enter that occurred on April 17, 2025, on Morningside Drive.

Unknown suspects smashed a window to gain entry to the residence and stole property.

Police are requesting citizens check their home security cameras in the area on April 17, 2025, from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m.

WRPS’ Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team is asking residents to consider the following tips to help prevent break-ins:

  • Keep doors and windows locked, even when home
  • Keep valuables out of common areas and out of plain sight
  • Install audible noise alarm systems
  • Secure residences with home video surveillance cameras in the front and back of the residence
  • Notify neighbours when away for an extended period and arrange to have someone check on your residence
  • Report any suspicious persons or vehicles to police
