Police Investigating Serious Collision Involving Skateboarder in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a serious collision in Kitchener involving a skateboarder.
On October 8, 2025, at approximately 10:40 a.m., emergency services responded to a collision at the intersection of Bridge Street West and Woolwich Street.
A 28-year-old male riding a skateboard was struck by an SUV travelling west on Bridge Street. The male was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious physical injuries.
Bridge Street West at Woolwich Street was closed for approximately two hours while police conducted an on-scene investigation.
