Police Locate Several Hundred Pairs of Suspected Stolen Footwear in Recovered Stolen Truck
Waterloo Regional Police have recovered a stolen truck and located several hundred pairs of suspected stolen footwear in Cambridge.
On November 11, 2025, at approximately 10:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a stolen box truck in the area of Townline Road. The truck was located by officers near Franklin Boulevard Road and Avenue Road, where officers attempted a traffic stop. The driver failed to stop and fled from police.
At approximately 10:50 p.m., officers located the truck abandoned in the area of Sheldon Drive and Lingard Road. Officers located approximately 800 pairs of work boots and work shoes in the truck, which are believed to be stolen.
The investigation is ongoing by WRPS’ Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team (BEVT).
