Police Respond to Cambridge Centre after Threatening Online Report
Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service responded to a bomb threat at the Cambridge Centre.
On August 7, 2025, at approximately 9 a.m., mall staff reported to police that they had received an online report of a bomb at the mall.
Police attended, and the mall was evacuated. A search was conducted, and nothing suspicious was located.
The threat is not believed to be credible.
The investigation remains ongoing by members of WRPS’ General Investigations Unit.
