The Waterloo Regional Police Service's Crime Suppression and Analysis Response (CSAR) Team is investigating a series of thefts from optical businesses throughout Waterloo Region.

Investigators believe the suspect attended multiple optical retailers and completed the thefts by switching older sunglasses with new merchandise before leaving the stores.

Police are seeking the public's assistance to identify and speak with the individual pictured below in connection with these incidents.

The investigation remains ongoing.
