Police Seek Public Assistance in Multiple Shoplifting Incidents in Cambridge
UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE:
Waterloo Regional Police have laid charges in connection to multiple retail thefts in Cambridge.
Between March 2025 and February 2026, a male suspect attended several stores and stole merchandise on at least nine separate occasions.
On April 4, 2026, police arrested a male in connection to these incidents.
A 42-year-old male has been charged with 10 counts of Theft Under $5,000 - Shoplifting. He is scheduled to appear in court in Kitchener on July 8, 2026.
Waterloo Regional Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in this investigation.

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a series of retail thefts in Cambridge.
Between March 2025 and February 2026, an unknown male attended several stores and stole merchandise on at least nine separate occasions.
Investigators would like to identify and speak to the individual pictured below in connection to these incidents.
