Polie Continue to Investigate Serious Collision in North Dumfries Township

WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit is continuing to investigate a serious collision in North Dumfries Township. 

On January 20, 2026, at approximately 6:30 a.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision between a Volkswagen and Chevrolet at the intersection of Trussler Road and Gladstone Road. 

The driver of the Volkswagen, a 22-year-old Kitchener male was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. 

The driver of the Chevrolet, a 49-year-old North Dumfries male reported no injuries. 

The intersection was closed for several hours for the investigation and has since reopened.

The investigation is ongoing, and charges are anticipated.
