Waterloo Region, Ontario – Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service have arrested two youths following a robbery at a retail store in Kitchener.

On September 3, 2025, at approximately 1:20 p.m., police received a report from business in the area of Ottawa Street South and Fischer Hallman Road regarding a physical disturbance between three individuals and a loss prevention officer. 

Officers quickly attended and arrested a 16-year-old male from Kitchener and a 15-year-old female from Kitchener a short distance away.

A second female youth remains outstanding.

As a result of the investigation, the 16-year-old male and 15-year-old female have been charged with:

• Robbery
• Assault with a Weapon

The investigation is ongoing, and police are working to identify and locate the outstanding female youth.
