Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a report of threats believed to be hate-motivated in the City of Kitchener.

On September 15, 2025, at approximately 8:30 p.m., police responded to the area of Highland Road West and Lawrence Avenue after receiving a report that a suspect had made threatening remarks toward a member of the public.

The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 20 to 25 years old, wearing a grey hooded top.

The investigation is ongoing.
