Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at a business in Cambridge.

On July 23, 2025, at approximately 2:15 a.m., police responded to reports of a robbery at a business in the area of Hespeler Road and Dunbar Road.

A female suspect entered the store and distracted the employee while a male suspect selected multiple items and attempted to leave without paying. When confronted by the store clerk, the male suspect physically assaulted the clerk by striking and throwing merchandise.

Both suspects fled the area on foot prior to police arrival.

The clerk sustained minor physical injuries as a result of the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
