The Waterloo Regional Police Service is investigating a robbery that occurred in Kitchener.

On December 20, 2025, at approximately 6:20 a.m., police responded to the area of Highland Road West and Fisher-Hallman Road after receiving a report of a robbery at a nearby business. 

An individual entered the business and demanded merchandise. The suspect then sprayed an unknown substance at the employee before fleeing on foot.

The suspect fled prior to police arrival. Minor physical injuries were reported as a result of this incident. The investigation remains ongoing.
