Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Eight Individuals After a Residential Break and Enter in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested multiple people after an attempted break and enter of a Kitchener residence.
On July 2, 2025, at approximately 11:20 p.m., police responded to multiple reports of a disturbance in the area of Charles Street East and Stirling Avenue South.
Eight suspects attended the residence of the victim and attempted to gain entry. The residence sustained damage and the victim was assaulted as a result.
The suspects are known to the victim and it is believed to be a targeted incident.
The victim suffered minor physical injuries.
Upon police arrival, the suspects were located and placed under arrest.
The group, consisting of six adults and two youths, were charged with multiple offences including assault with a weapon, break and enter, and mischief under $5000.
All arrested parties were held for a bail hearing.
