Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Elmira Male in Connection to a Internet Child Exploitation Investigation
In August 2025, members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Cybercrime Branch – Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit conducted an investigation involving child pornography.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, on August 14, 2025, police arrested a 46-year-old Elmira male. The accused has been charged with:
Two counts of possession of child pornography
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
