Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Five Males Following Theft in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested five males following a theft at a business on Shirley Avenue in Kitchener.
On October 19, 2025, at approximately 10 p.m., police responded to a report of an in-progress theft at a commercial property. Upon arrival, officers observed several individuals loading stolen property into a vehicle.
Four suspects were arrested at the scene, and a fifth was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit.
The five males, two 40-year-olds from Toronto, a 28-year-old from North York, a 26-year-old from Richmond Hill, and a 36-year-old from Etobicoke, were jointly charged with Theft Over $5,000. The 26-year-old was additionally charged with Disguise with Intent.
The accused parties were held in police custody for a bail hearing.
