Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Individual in Connection to Multiple Vehicle Keying Incidents
The Waterloo Regional Police Service has arrested and charged a 57-year-old Kitchener individual in connection with multiple vehicle keying incidents in the downtown core.
On August 21, 2025, police received reports of several vehicles that had been deliberately keyed. Following an investigation, officers identified and arrested the individual responsible. The accused has also been linked to two similar incidents dating back to July 2025.
Investigators continue to review additional reports believed to be connected to this ongoing investigation in the Stirling Avenue area of Kitchener and near Cambridge Memorial Hospital.
The accused has been charged with five counts of Mischief Under $5,000 in relation to the reported incidents.
