Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Male After a Disturbance in Uptown Waterloo
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male after responding to a reported disturbance in Waterloo.
On March 1, 2025, at approximately 1:45 a.m., police responded to reports of a physical altercation in the area of King Street North and Young Street West.
Through the investigation, police learned an assault had taken place which resulted in minor physical injuries.
Police arrested a Kitchener male involved in the incident and located a loaded firearm in his possession.
The 34-year-old male has been charged with multiple criminal offences, including assault, unauthorized possession of a prohibited firearm, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The male was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
