Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Male After Robbery in Downtown Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male after a robbery in Kitchener.
On July 3, 2026, at approximately 6:30 a.m., police responded to a report of a robbery in the area of King Street West near Francis Street.
The victim was walking in the area when the suspect approached, began yelling and assaulting them while attempting to steal their personal belongings.
Officers arrived in the area and arrested the suspect. The victim was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
As a result of the investigation, a 33-year-old male was arrested and charged with Robbery.
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
