Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Male in Connection to Multiple Break-and-Enters in Cambridge
Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team (BEVT) have arrested and charged a male in connection with a series of break-and-enters targeting Cambridge businesses.
Between June 17, 2025, and August 22, 2025, four separate incidents were reported at three different businesses. In each case, the suspect forced entry into the premises, causing property damage and stealing items, including cash and cigarettes.
On September 9, 2025, at approximately 12:45 p.m., police located and arrested a 35-year-old male in connection with the incidents.
As a result of the investigation, the accused has been charged with:
- Break, Enter a Place – Commit Indictable Offence (four counts)
- Breach of Probation
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
