Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Male on Drug Trafficking Charges in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male on drug trafficking related charges in Kitchener as part of an ongoing crime suppression initiative. 

On July 8, 2026, as part of an ongoing investigation, officers arrested a male in the area of Wilson Avenue and Forth Avenue. 

As part of the investigation, officers seized a vehicle and completed a search warrant. Investigators also seized suspected cocaine, hydromorphone, oxycodone, and currency.

As a result of the investigation, a 19-year-old Kitchener male was charged with:

- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking (three counts)

The accused was held for a bail hearing.
