Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male after responding to a disturbance in Kitchener.

On November 30, 2025, at approximately 11:40 p.m., officers were called to a business in the area of Ottawa Street South and Strasburg Road for reports of an assault.

Through investigation, police determined that one male had arranged to meet another male at the location and then assaulted the victim. The victim sustained physical injuries as a result of the incident.

A 22-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with assault and assault with a weapon. He was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
