Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Male Following Break-and-Enter in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male following a break-and-enter at a commercial property in Kitchener.
On March 7, 2026, at approximately 3:30 p.m., police responded to the area of Frederick Street and Duke Street after receiving a report of an in-progress break-in.
Upon arrival, officers located evidence of forced entry inside the building and arrested a male who was found hiding on the property.
As a result of the investigation, the male, a 39-year-old from Wellington County, has been charged with:
- Break, Enter a place - with intent to commit indictable offence
- Possession of Break In Instruments
- Disguise with Intent
- Mischief - Interfere with lawful use, enjoyment or operation of property
- Failure to Comply with Judicial Release
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
