Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Male Following Commercial Break-In and Vehicle Theft in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male in connection to a break-and-enter and theft of a commercial vehicle in Kitchener.
On September 22, 2025, at approximately 8 a.m., police responded to a report of a break-in and a vehicle stolen from a business in the area of King Street East and Gateway Park Drive.
Shortly before 2 p.m., officers from Central Division and the Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team located the stolen vehicle, a Chevrolet Silverado, in the area of Charles Street West and Ontario Street South and arrested a male.
Officers also seized suspected crystal methamphetamine, vehicle keys, and break-in tools.
As a result of the investigation, a 31-year-old Kitchener male is facing several charges, including:
- Break and Enter – Commit Indictable Offence
- Theft of Motor Vehicle
- Possession of Break-In Instruments
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance
- Operation While Prohibited
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
