Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Male Following Vehicle Theft and Trespassing Incident in Woolwich Township

Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male following a vehicle theft and trespassing incident in Woolwich Township.

On October 10, 2025, at approximately 10:45 a.m., police responded to a report of an unwanted male in a parking lot in the area of Fountain Street North and Airport Road. 

Upon arrival, officers located the male in a stolen vehicle and arrested him.

Through investigation, officers determined that the vehicle had been taken the previous evening from a dealership on King Street North in Waterloo during a fraudulent test-drive. 

As a result of the investigation, a 36-year-old Kitchener male has been charged with several offences, including:

  • Theft of Motor Vehicle
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
  • Mischief – Interfere with Lawful Use of Property
  • Enter When Entry is Prohibited

The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
