Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Two Following Drug Trafficking Investigation in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police have charged two individuals in connection to drug trafficking in Kitchener.
On January 16, 2026, as part of an ongoing investigation, the North Division Street Crime Team, North Division Direct Action Response Team, and the Emergency Response Team conducted a search warrant in the area of Victoria Street North and Forfar Avenue.
Drugs, including suspected cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, hydromorphone, oxycodone, and morphine were seized. A machete, axe, ammunition, identity documents, and Canadian currency were also seized.
A 45-year-old Kitchener male and a 31-year-old female were arrested and charged with six counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and two counts of Firearm or Weapon: Possession Contrary to Prohibition Order.
Both accused parties were held in police custody for a bail hearing.
