Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Two Males After a Drug Trafficking Investigation
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested two males in connection to a drug trafficking investigation.
On February 21, 2025, members of the Waterloo Regional Police Direct Action Response Team concluded a months-long Controlled Drugs and Substances Act investigation by completing a search warrant in Cambridge.
Investigators seized a loaded handgun, crossbow, approximately 1 kilogram of suspected fentanyl, as well as suspected cocaine and prescription medications.
A 25-year-old Brampton male and a 40-year-old Cambridge male have been arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, as well as weapons offences.
The males were held in police custody for a bail hearing.
